I wanted a way to back up the notes and other things like, blog posts and DMs that I have sent out to the world and to my family over the years.
Some things on Nostr are very important to me. For instance, I created a Nostr account for my baby girl, who is currently almost 2 years old now, and I have sent her DMs to that account and will continue to do so. (I haven't written to her enough, =/ sorry about that little one) But I'm sure ill do better once I know I, or anyone else, can restore them. ;) When she is older, I'll give her access to the nsec i have secured so she can login and read them.
I wanted a way to make sure the notes and DMs are archived on a DVD or something so that I (or someone else in my family) can rebroadcast them later onto new relays easily far into the future.
So...
I made a rudimentary web app that allows you to download, archive, view and rebroadcast nostr notes from any npub.
I'm 100% sure there are bugs, and I'm not 100% sure it's fully working correctly on the broadcast function. But its a start.
Feel free to try it out or fork it and make it better!
