OK #cashu community, I am building a digital store flask application. User can browse unique digital goods and pay a Lightning invoice to gain access to them. Once the invoice is paid the user will receive an email (and maybe a #nostr DM) with the content.

My question is:

What would be the best way to recieve a verified payment via lightning that automatically converts to #ecash for the store front wallet or maybe an external wallet?

Is there a good way to generate invoices that could deposit funds into say a npub.cash address in a way that can trigger an email confirmation route in my flask app?

I just put together a browser-based tool for splitting and reassembling eCash for sending over the Meshtastic mesh network. It's super handy for breaking down large eCash tokens into smaller messages without losing track of the order. Each message is capped at 150 characters, making it perfect for mesh networks.

The Meshtastic app isn't great for copying message content at the moment so its a little hacky but its better than nothing I think.

🔹 eCash Text Splitter: Easily chop up your eCash into manageable chunks, each with a sequence number and a hash for verification.

🔹 eCash Text Reassembler: Put those chunks back together and check the hash to make sure everything's in order.

⚠️ Heads up:
- This hasn't been tested extensively yet. Make sure to back up your full eCash token before you start splitting it.

Could #ecash be sent to a public key (like an npub) in a way that not even the sender can redeam it?

Like burn and create a new encrypted ecash without contacting the mint that only the recipient can redeam?

This would make offline digital payments over say #LoRa much more trustworthy and final.
